In this presentation, I will offer some tips on how to teach the Homeric poems with films, based on my personal experience of teaching a college-level Classical Mythology course with films. The two films I will discuss will be Petersen's "Troy" (2004), and the Cohen Brothers' "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou" (2004).
